Orphanage Renovation

Sebil Humanitarian Aid Association renovated the home of a poor orphaned family in the city of Dura, in the West Bank region of Palestine. The head of the family, the late Rabhi Hasan Abdurrahman El Harub, passed away in 2013 as a result of a heart attack. The mother of the family, Nadiye Halil Ibrahim El Harub, is 44 years old. Mrs. Nadiye lived in the same house with her five orphans, her eldest son and his wife, totaling eight people. Their house was dilapidated and leaked water, and they did not have the means to renovate it. In addition, the bathroom was 25 meters away from the house. The family in question are orphans. The mother did not have the means to renovate the house with her orphans. They could only meet their basic daily needs under difficult conditions. Although the eldest child of the family was married, he lived with his family due to financial difficulties and tried to make ends meet with the minimum necessities. The home of these orphans was renovated by adding a balcony at the entrance of the house and installing a bathroom and toilet. The house's plaster was renewed, and the leaky roof was repaired and covered with concrete. A solar energy system was also installed in the house to provide hot water for the orphans' use. We thank those who supported us in alleviating the hardship of our orphan family. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKUVeWEb2SY
