Aid to 50 Families Who Migrated to Midyat

Food aid was provided to 50 families who left their homes due to incidents in the districts of İdil, Cizre, and Silopi in Şırnak and the districts of Nusaybin and Dargeçit in Mardin and came to Midyat. With the organization of the Sebil Humanitarian Aid Association, based in Istanbul, and the Mardin Representative Office of the Davet ve Kardeşlik Foundation, the Midyat Education and Solidarity Association (Midyat-Der), which operates in Midyat, distributed food packages to 50 families with the contributions of charitable citizens in Mardin, Midyat, and Kızıltepe. Midyat-Der President İdris İraz, along with members of the board of directors, personally delivered the food packages he loaded onto his vehicle to families who had left their homes due to incidents in surrounding provinces and districts, migrated to Midyat, and were living in rented houses in different neighborhoods. Stating that his goal is to seek Allah's pleasure, Association President İdris İraz said that they are trying to contribute in some way by visiting the families who have taken refuge in Midyat from surrounding provinces and districts due to the events. Iraz said that they personally delivered the food packages to the families' homes, adding, "With the contributions of our generous citizens in Mardin, Midyat, and Kızıltepe, we provided food aid to 50 families in need who fled to Midyat from surrounding districts, faced great difficulties, and lived with several families in the same house. I extend my endless gratitude to our generous donors who made these aid efforts possible. Citizens wishing to assist these families can contact our association."
